HTC DESIRE S ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES

HTC Desire S is one of few handsets that come with pre-installed Android 2.3 gingerbread to properly use its 1 GHz Scorpion processor. This HTC mobile phone released in last month. This is the upgrade version of HTC Desire released last year. Today I am about to talk its advantages and disadvantages. Hope this will help you to decide whether it is for you or not.
 

HTC Desire S Advantages:

    Uses the best screen from HTC so far, a 3.7" 480 X 800 pixels 16M-color capacitive S-LCD touchscreen
    Android OS v2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense
    Compact aluminum unibody design
    1 GHz Scorpion CPU, Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 chipset
    768 MB RAM and 1.1 GB ROM
    14.4 Mbps HSDPA and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA
    Wi-Fi b/g/n and DLNA, supports portable HotSpot
    MicroUSB port (charging) and stereo Bluetooth v2.1
    Ultra-fast boot times compared with any other handsets in the market
HTC Desire S Disadvantages:

    Only 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording capability
    No dedicated camera key on side or lens cover on back
    Video quality is not up to the standard
    You need to turn off the phone and remove battery to change memory card
    Wi-Fi signal degrades when you cover the top part of the back panel
    Poor sun light visibility
