Olive Telecom has introduced its new Android device Olive Fluid in the market. The device was earlier launched at a higher price point but later the price was slashed by Rs. 3,000, making it an ideal Android device within the budget range.

Whereas, the HTC Wildfire is another superb Android phone which offers loads of features to the users but that comes at a price which is quite on the higher end compared to the Olive Fluid smartphone.
We check out the key features and technical specifications of both these new Android devices to see which one is better equipped to offer value for money to the users.
Form Factor
Olive Fluid: 109 x 52 x 14.8 mm, 117 g
HTC Wildfire: 106.8 x 60.4 x 12 mm, 118 g
The Olive Fluid comes in sturdy form and it has a sleek design. The smartphone measures 109 x 52 x 14.8 mm and weighs 117 grams. It is a bit bulky and slightly bigger on diemensions.
On the other hand, the HTC Wildfire measures 106.8 x 60.4 x 12.19 mm in dimensions and weighs 105 grams. Standing closely on the size specs, the Fluid is a bit taller and weighs more than the Wildfire. However, the HTC phone surpasses in the width front.
Screen
When it comes to screen size, Olive Fluid sports a larger display. The device offers 3.5 inch HVGA screen size. Equipped with TFT capacitive touchscreen, the handset offers 320 x480 pixels resolution. The display of this device is crisp and sharp and it has capacitive screen which fetches results in quick time. You don't need to prod or poke it harder to get the desired result.
The screen size for HTC Wildfire is 3.2 inch. It is slightly smaller compared to the Olive Fluid. However, the device packs a a non-AMOLED capacitive screen with 240 x 320 pixels. You can get good display on this device, but when you check out the pixels count and screen size, the Olive Fluid has certainly an edge on this department.

The Olive Fluid comes equipped with a 3-megapixels camera which is offered with video player and recording options. The device offers MP4, 3Gp video support. The pictures taken from this device are sharp and the video quality is equally good on this device as well.
Whereas, the Wildfire sports a powerful 5-megapixels camera with flash and it offers amazing photos through this device. There are plenty of add on features available with the snapper of this smartphone. You can get touch-to-focus, face and smile detection, LED flash and geo-tagging to play around with while taking photos. Overall, the camera of HTC WIldfire is far superior than the Olive Fluid.

On the operating system, both the new devices pack the Android OS. There are many Android devices getting launched these days and most of the smartphones are now coming with latest version of this platform. On the OS front, both these devices come equipped with Android 2.1 Eclair operating system.
The Olive Fluid may be upgraded to the next version of Google's Android OS, i.e Android 2.2 Froyo. On the other hand, the HTC Wildfire sports Android 2.1 coupled with HTC Sense UI. The Android platform coupled with the new HTC Sense UI works flawlessly on the Wildfire. As long as both these devices are based on Android 2.1, there is no clear winner on the OS front as of now.
